I just installed the newest nvidia driver 81.36 (?). I downloaded the newest rivatuner to unlock the pipes and vertex shader on my 6800 and installed the coolbits registry. Now, when I overclock, the memory overclock remains the same in 2d as 3d. Is that normal?

Just overclock using Rivatuner, I dont think its a good idea to have 2 overclocking problems on at the same time, Rivatuner will have seperate sections for 2D and 3D so it will be obvious if they are the same or not.

PS.

6800 Unlocked is awsome :p I get 10k in 3dmark03 without OC.

I did the exact same thing. When overclocking the 3d memory, it also overclocks the 2d memory and vice versa. It does not work that way with the core though.

Delete it from your registry. Start/Run/Regedit. Then search for any entries of Coolbits and delete them.

Should be hkey_local_machine/Software/Nvidia Corporation/Nvtweak. Third entry down should be coolbits.
