I tried to overclock c2duo e2140 on MB ASROCK CONROE1333-GLAN /775 ,RAM-512MB DDR2 667 KINGSTON, and the highest FSB i achieved- 220.
When i set to 230 it dies. So i know the chipset of the motherboard is the problem. Any solutions how to deal with it,or 1760 Mhz is the maximum with this MB?

Welcome to anandtech. My best guess is that you haven't lowered your RAM speed down to match your FSB, and your RAM isn't able to run at the speed you're trying to run it at. Unfortunately, I have no idea what that setting's called in your BIOS, or where it's located within the BIOS.

That's a strange board. ASRock's product page states that it uses the 945GC chipset, but the board doesn't have onboard video while that chipset has built-in Intel GMA950 graphics according to Intel.

These older chipsets don't have fully locked PCI-E clocks so for overclocking you may have to bump the PCI-E speed a bit, maybe as far up as 115MHz. Additionally, if this board is anything like my own ASRock ConRoe1333DVI-H board, then it doesn't have adjustable Vcore and VDIMM has only one tiny notch, not enough to run "enthusiast" RAM at even stock speeds. Thus, lack of voltage may be a problem as well.
