Hi guys, I'm having problems joining Q3A pure servers, and I'm not even sure what makes my installation "unpure".
I have the v1.17 point release and the old intel optimized DLL files that boost performance. I thought those DLL files were the culprit so I just renamed them to see if it made a difference, but it seems to make things worse.
Before, I could enter the game and join pure servers, but when I left the arena and tried to join another pure server it would bomb me back into the game menu. Now, I can't even join any pure servers at all. My in-game browser doesn't have all those color-coded ping times and other game types(OSP, jailbreak, etc) but only the standard DM, TDM, CTF and Tourney. Anything that isn't recognized is represented by "???". Once I see this I know I won't be able to join pure servers(from past experience). So, other than re-installing the game, what can I do to make my game "pure" again?
