Problem Installing XP Pro SP1

After I download SP1 and run the install, I get an error that says: Cannot determine integrity of Update.inf, make sure cryptographic services are running. I checked all the services and they all of them are enabled. Please help.

Have you tried redownloading it yet? You could have a corrupted download. When you say you checked if the services are enabled are they actually started or just set to manual?

I know the download is fine, because it worked on my other computer. How do I check if the services are on manual or automatic?

Right click My Computer and choose manage. Expand Services and Applications and click on Services. Make sure Cryptographic services is set to automatic and it is started.

It's on automatic, and it is started, but I still get the error.

Hey, thanks. That link really help me out all I had to do was change the name of the catroot2 folder when the cryptographic services are off, then just turn them back on. Thanks again.
