Problem installing msn beta

Ok, so i just waited 2hours for the live messesnger beta to download with my dial up connection. I open it, and run installation. And about 2 seconds in i get "Error 1601.... goto www..... for newest version of messenger beta"

So i went on the website and looked for the error code 1601. There is nothing, ive searched on google and i only get crappy forums where no1 seems to no exactly what to do.

Does ne 1 no what's happening? Im running Win Xp sp2. If you have the answer i will send you an invite to use messenger live beta.

this is what I see as a solution:

To correct this, click Start, then Run, and type the following:
%systemroot%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver then click OK.

mzkhadir is correct. This resets the Windows installation service.
