Problem Installing Adobe Acrobat 6.0

Hi!
I installed Acrobat 6.0 in a PC with Win XP Pro on it and at the end of the installation poped up a message saying that it couldn't create a temp file due to invalid syntax, or something like that.
I ignored the message ( I clicked ok), I reboot the system and opened Acrobat, but the file couldn't be opened because there was an " error opening this doc. The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect".
Has anyone any idea how to overcome it?
Thanks

I would try uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat. If you're referring to Acrobat Reader (not the full version), version 7.0 is the latest.

I had the same issues with the newer (6+) versions. I COMPLETELY uninstalled the app. Rebooted. Installed a version 5 of the reader. Works fine. I even did the update to 6 after a few weeks without any issues.
