problem instaling video card ---> easy fix im sure

ive got an emachines with xp (newer) emachines Putting a geforce3 in it. Ive done this before. I put card in and start computer. Then all icons are off screen as do all windows go offscreen when you bring something up. shows desktopand start bar. its an easy solution im sure ive done this before so i dont need tons of help. Just forgot what to do (been a while) Please help me.
 
Does the computer have onboard video? If so you'll have to disable it. Then run driver cleaner (google), then install the drivers for the new card.
