Problem in Excel 2003 - Scrolling is soooo slow!

So I changed to Office 2003 from 2000 on a new quad core machine. I have an Excel sheet that worked fine in Office 2000, but when I open it in 2003 the scrolling and tabl changing is soooooo bloody slow and jerky. I've Googled the issue, and tried some of the tips presented, but it does not work. I'm thinking a video card issue perhaps? My machine is only a year old, 1 gig of ram, etc.

Any thoughts???

Thanks!

Check your print drivers. I've seen this issue in 2007.

Try setting your default to another printer and see what the results are.

well, if that were the case, you should be seeing the same issue with other applications, I would think. Do you notice it in other applications, too?

is it a "my computer is thinking" - kind of slow? or is it a "scrolling takes forever because the increments are small" kind of slow?

if it's the latter, someone might have nudged your scroll lock key.
