Original post below, but problem is fixed and www.computergeeks.com is selling ghetto Radeon VE Dual Monitor cards....
My brother just went and bought some Radeon VE Dual Display card because he wanted dual montors like me, hehe ( I use the Matrox G450)
Well we put the card in, it detected and we can use windows fine, but we only get the same display on both screens. Now it was time to do an update for the drivers, I went on to ATI's site and found the only drivers I could which were there version 6.13.3276 for WinXP, good for ATI Radeon all the way up to ATI Radeon 8500....
We ran the driver update exe and it just spit out that his Radeon card was not supported by that driver update.
Now i'm not sure if these driver updates INCLUDE the Dual Display version of the Radeon VE. But if they don't, I cannot find anything else..
Also ATI has something called the HydraVision, I think its software to control the dual-montor display. We did NOT receive this software on CD or anything and ATI's site does not serve it, they claim its only available on CD currently.
Could someone please grab a WinXP compatible copy of the HydaVision software and hook me up?
or help me find the 'right' drivers -- I think the ones I found were right, but not entirely sure.
THIS is the card he bought.
Thanks!
