Problem exporting address book in Outlook Express

Hi All,

I need to back up my Outlook Express address book but when I open the address book (i.e. click the "Addresses" button on the Toolbar) and go to the File menu, the Import and Export options are greyed out. None of my other computers have this problem, but I really need the address book off this particular machine.

Anyone have a problem like this?

What happens when you click on File in the main menu?

Import and Export should show up there as well.

Yeah, they do. I can export my address book as a text file. But I cannot export the data as a address book file (a.k.a a WAB file, I believe).

How useful is the text file? Will it import cleanly into OE, the way the WAB does?

Sorry, no direct experience so all I can suggest is experimenting with it with one of your other units. :beer:
