Problem displaying Divx on a projector

I have my Projector set up in nView as a clone monitor, and it works fine for movies, games, etc. However, when I want to show a divx video on the big screen, it remains blank, even though I can see the clip on my monitor. I use Windows Media Player when I play divx, as I'm not a big fan of the Divx player. Do you have any ideas on what's going on here?

Play the video on the 'Primary' display, or use a software player rather than one that is hardware-accelerated. Overlay surfaces on displays other than the 'primary' one are blank.

Edit: Should work in Clone mode, though. Weird. Does it work with the DivX player, or VLC or something like that?

Unless you need both displays at once, you could just set it to single display and switch between the two when you want to watch something.

Ok, I set my projector as the default monitor, and it showed up at the expense of the video on the monitor (kind of expected that). I guess I can live with that, but still...so much to be desired.

Strangely enough, when I used the divx player, the thing crashed, and continues to crash. Works fine with WMP though.
