Problem burning Xp iso

I'm trying to burn the iso file to a cd and get all the way through the process with success. The problem comes when I try to view the contents of the cd. When I click on the drive that it's in it won't dectect anything being in it. If I put it in my other drive it does the same thing. I using the latest version of nero and am copying the file with a yamaha scsi recorder. Any ideas.
 
I would try a program like winiso to unlock the iso and then burn to a cd the regular way or at least to check to see if the iso is not corupted in some way.
