I'm having problems attaching files in yahoo mail (web based, not pop3).
Whenever I try to attach any file, I get this message after it uploads/virus scans:
"Unfortunately, there was a problem:
There has been a problem uploading the file you tried to send.
This problem should fix itself in about 10 minutes.
Please try again at that time.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Your patience is appreciated"

Well, 10 minutes was up about three weeks ago :). And Yahoo online help is, of course, useless.
I'm using windows xp, and IE6 (6.0.2600). I've tried shutting down all other programs, but that doesn't help.
Anybody else having problems lately? any troubleshoot tips?

thanks

That's funny. I had a problem a month or so ago where whenever I tried to attach a file to an email with Yahoo, IE would crash outright. I'm also using XP and IE6. It happened for one day, then never again, though. Weird.

no one else having problems?

I think it started when they added a 'progress bar' to the attachment upload window....several weeks ago..

does anyone know a yahoo group, or forum that might have some information? yahoo help is awful. No knowledge base, or 'tech support' forum that I could find...

thanks.

I reinstalled IE6, and that didn't help.

so I installed netscape 6.2 and mail attachments work fine!...must be a IE6 buggy...(or yahoo javascript problem with IE6).
