Why did you do this?
I wanted to see how it would organize stuff. I didnt realize it'd rape it though.
I'm not trying to complain too hard, cuz I had barely any semblance of organization before. But I did have a decade of billboard top100 completely organized by year and it ripped that apart.
I liked to open it up by the years folder sometimes and listen to like 1993 for example. Thats gone now.

Wtf, are you questioning Steve Jobs' wisdom? Everything Apple does is correct, if you disagree you are wrong. If you want a feature their products don't have, you are stupid. Am I understood? Good.
Hehe, that gave me a laugh.
Overall, I'm not going to use iTunes instead of WMP10. I've always had iTunes installed because it comes with QuickTime these days.. but I'll be using it for uploading MP3s to my Nano only..
I think WMP outclasses iTunes besides the music store which is pretty good in itself.
Weird thing about system restore is that it puts files back onto my Desktop.. even music folders and patches I had downloaded, but wont touch any other folders.
😛
I do like how iTunes keeps a database file of all of its MP3s.. its much quicker in pulling up individual files than WMP10.
To further explain "why I did this".. I was under some illusion that Apple has some great ideas so it might organize my MP3s some great way that made a lot of sense.. but instead I've got like 3 folders with the same artists name on it now
😛
Ipods have their share of disadvantages: cant download songs FROM the Ipod. Also the rechargable battery thru USB is kinda screwy.. but overall its ok. For $130 a 1GB Nano isnt a bad buy.. but if I could do it over again I'd bought a $130 Creative Zen Nano Plus like I told my lady friend to purchase.
Why I dont take my own advice?
Because the new 1GB Nano looked like something cool to try out. Guess that 85% marketshare speaks to me too so I wanted to try out what Apple has to offer.. I prob wont be doing it again though.
I'd never done it unless I could have gotten a "cheap" 1GB Ipod like the 1GB Nano though. I wasnt going to pay any over what a 1GB Zen Nano wouldve cost me.
In conclusion, my dellusional thoughts that Apple has something on any other company are now gone.
🙂
I'll still be using the Nano though, its a nice gadget and Im not bothered by its downfalls. I dont see many positives though besides Podcasts and that it has a nice screen/interface for a great price (1GB nano that is).
