This may be a temporary thing, but the highly sought after BFG Asylum 5900 is back at Newegg again for $175. Still shows COD, but I'm not counting on it. I missed out the last time it was in stock, so I snached one up so fast that I almost forgot about the free t-shirt. (almost) It is OOS again, but worth keeping an eye on.

Too bad it's not in stock, this would be a great price. I also have my doubts it will come back in stock though. There have been rumors that the card is discontinued.

well it was completely off their website... now the product is listed again. So that is giving people hope I guess.

umm know, i just scanned the shelf tag as proof (shelf was bare here).
if going to a bb and finding one, scan it @ the register

I haven't been able to find oneon the shelf at BB though.

The RAM is 850 mhz, and the core is 400 on this one.

BFG's FX 5900's are not discontinued, that is a false rumor that is going around. They're out of stock because they are so popular.
How do I know this? From Direct contact to BFG.

Followup-

I'm not sure how many got in on this.
Newegg is incredible. Shipped from Cali to ATL in <48hrs. The package did have the Call of Duty bundled and the free T-shirt.
It is a terrible shame if BFG discontinues this item, but it is probably canibalizing their 5700-U sales.

Awesome deal if it returns. I already have COD, so it looks like I'll be selling a copy.
