..... but what would you expect from me?
I have a TBird and I am going to upgrade to an XP. Will my HS/F from the TBird fit on the XP? I assume all that has changed is the architecture and not the size but I figured I better ask the experts to be sure.
My mobo (GA7DXR/F8 BIOIS) will support the XP. Thanks.

I dont know what horta is talkin about!!! .13micron is the Tbred not an xp!!!

Same socket a for all the amd chips....The biggest factor for many is whether or not there mobo will support the tbreds Rev A or B currently or with a bios upgrade....

Xp's seem to have ran a bit cooler then the tbird so if you had a hsf working fine on the much hotter 1.4ghz tbird you should be fine to up to a 1800+xp....The tbred Rev a 2200+ has a smaller contact surface and thus was running hotter then the xp chips....
