Probably a silly question....

I have an HP "Media Center" PC that I bought on super sale last year, it's got some propriety board by asus called the P5BW-LA.

It currently has a 7600GT in it, but I'm going to use it to connect to my new HDTV and want to run an HDMI from it to the TV. I'm looking at the HD 3850 or something along the likes, but I'm not sure if my computer can use it?

Probably a silly question like I said, but can I use this card?😕

Your m/b has a PCI-e x16 slot so it should have no isue with the video card. You might want to check if your power supply has a PCI-e connector available for the video card.

One of the most important things you'll need to do is make sure you remove all traces of the nVidia drivers before you install an ATI-based card and its drivers.
