It's a required class for the nursing department. I never took it so I have no idea how difficult it is. My kid needs it but the only open section is online. The school does have a math lab/tutoring. I'm not thinking a math class online is a good idea. He did just finished his 1st semester calculus class with an A.

This course includes the following topics: introductory probability and statistics, including organization of data, sample space concepts, random variables, counting problems, binomial and normal distributions, central limit theorem, confidence intervals, and test hypotheses for large and small samples; types I and II errors; linear regression; and correlation.
