prob with my mobile 2500?

The only testing that we have access to is done by us. How many accounts have you read of a Tbred or Barton cpu dying of too much vcore? In the five overclocking forums I visit I have read of one user killing two cpus. That's not a lot to go on.


i've killed like 4 t-bred b's and 1 barton by using too much voltage
most went out around or above 1.75v
also i noticed similar results on air as with subzero water cooling

yes it is a calculated risk
i'm glad to see that all these people are happy for now.

You are the one I was referring to as the only person I've ever heard of killing Tbred or Barton cpus from too much voltage. I didn't realize it was five. Sorry to hear about that.

lol, yeah I know he's the only one that claims of killing he's Athlon XP's that I know. I'm getting my athlon XP mobile soon so right now I'm gonna overclock the sh!t out my T-Bred for fun🙂
