ive been using the proactiv solution for a while now... maybe for about 3/4 of a year. I would follow the instruction on the bottles and I would use the recommand amount. After using this product for 3/4 year, i've realize the solution don't clear up any pimples/acne at all! all it does, at least for me, is make my good skin smoother, and it has no affect on places with acne. This thing also don't prevent growth of new pimples because they just keep coming back.

I dunno, i am pretty disappointed at proactiv. so be warned about this product before you spend butt loads of money on it.

If you're going to experiment, always buy with the 30-day guarantee. Return in time if you're not happy.

When I used it ten or so years ago, it was great. It dried up everything bad on my skin, & within a month I didn't need it.

I bought some about a little over 1 month ago and yeah I too am slightly disappointed. It kinda works but wasn't what I was expecting. Some areas of my face like around my nose have gotten much better, but other areas have stayed the same.

there's generic proactiv knock-offs that are cheaper. I got acne free and noticed significantly less skin anomalies.

nope, didnt work for me at all.
the only thing that ever helped was finding a good dermatologist and getting perscription topical meds.

a good diet also helps..

do you like fried or oily foods? if so, you will definately want to cut that out.

stay from any kind of nut especially peanuts

the chinese say some foods literally raise your internal temperature, like strawberries. While others cool you down, like any citrus (oranges). stick with the fruits that cool you down.

like any drinks with caffine? if so, cut all that out and just drink water.

if you make this kind of change in your diet, I guarantee you will see results.

in addition to this, keep using proactive and take a shower and wash your face atleast once a day. change your sheets and pillow out now and start fresh. don't ever go to sleep without washing your face. and if your pillow is dirty, throw it out and get a new one. Most importantly....get at least 8 hours of sleep every night. don't burn the midnight oil..that's the fastest way to get acne.

If you following the above instructions for a good 3 months, you will see dramatic results. your skin will clear up and you won't get new pimples either.

but stick to the plan and basically make this your life style. if you deviate from the plan, acne will come back. again, it's a new life style, live it!

this plan will be better than any other gimmick out there, don't waste your money on anything else.

edit: if you think any cream or lotion by itself will clear up your acne...you're just kidding yourself. Also, I forgot to mention to exercise everyday and work up a good sweat. Sweating itself is great, because you're releasing the toxic "stuff" from your body. Just make sure to drink lots of water.
