Pro Football in NY Metro Area...are we getting screwed?

Anyone in the NYC area noticed that we are not getting any Sunday double headers on cable? When I went to college in upstate NY, the cable stations there always had double headers (at least 1, sometimes 2). And in NY I'm "forced" to watch either the Jets (which will suck this years) or the Giants (which have sucked since '91). How come NY football fans are getting depraved from the joys of Sundat double headers?

Don't some satellite providers even black out non-local games unless you subscribe to a sports package?

I think he was referring to the sports package. But TRUST me, you WANT NFL Sunday Ticket (DirecTV's football package). Right now, I have to choice to watch the following games:

cardinals at giants
panthers at redskins
bears at vikings
lions at saints
49er at falcons
buccanners at patriots
ravens at steelers
colts at chiefs
jauguars at browns

Plus 4 more 4pm games (along with any other game that would normally be avalible)! Its very nice being able to watch any game you want
