Yah, that's just scary to offer up that kind of info to Joe Crazy for the low low price of $60.
 
I personally don't like to enter my own information in name or address searches (tinfoil hat paranoia, I guess)
But I did enter the name and info of someone I know, and found him
 
Most of those sites are scams. They just download public information into their database. A lot of them will charge people to do a background check on someone and then come back and say that person isn't in the database, but they will still charge the credit card. Some of them are double billing also.

But think about how hard some of that stuff, not that hard to find out anyway.

Think about how much info you have out on the internet right now. If you are on message boards you give out a little info each post that someone could get a pretty damn good idea what you are all about. You are on myspace maybe? Internet Dating site? Facebook? clubs?

Really easy to find someone if you try a little.
 
um...i'm pretty sure a lot of this info is all public record and is available to anyone who wants to find it, whether its on this website or your local courthouse

yah, its all public info if you know where to look. If you have a mortgage, ever went to court, got married, divorced, etc, you'll be listed there.
 
woot, i'm not on there, but there is a made up person on there. When we got our second phone line, we made up a name "stevie-ray" for it, so that we know whenever someone called asking for "stevie-ray" it wasn't worth listening to. And sure enough, "stevie-ray" is listed
 
Yeah, my whole family is on there.

Big LOL at the corny graphic they use in the banner BTW. They must be searching to see if that guy that wants to 3-way them has no criminal record?

almost everyone posting in here is acting like these people are digging through your trash or surveilling you to get this info.
 
They got me in there! They know all of my family members, my age, their ages, and the addresses of the last four places where I lived.

They seem to think that I still have two roommates in New York, though. Oops!
 
I'm on there, with matches to my parents and one of my brothers. Parents ages are correct, mine is 9 years off, though. My brother's age is 7 years off.
