So I wanted to delete all messages from 1 user in my pm box
So i click on their name in the "To" column and it shows me all the messages we've sent back and forth
So i go to press "select all" but isntead i press "mark all as read" and refreshes the page
Well me thinking it has refreshed the page with JUST those same messages i click select all and delete
The thing is little to my knowledge it has gone back to the inbox (which had jsut about as many messages from this guy and a couple others currently dealing with in FS/FT) and press select all/delete and soon as i notice try to press stop it was too late 🙁

In other words wtf is up with Mark All as Read returning to the inbox and not with the current area you are in? This sucked and now I'm out a few messages that were establishing a couple of trades...

If the message was originally read and you then click the box (it essientially reversed the read flag).

Messages that are unread will default back to the InBox until manually moved elsewhere.

:? I'm talking about the actual button not the check box...and how that button no matter what after being pressed takes you directly back to the inbox instead of returning to the last view you were looking at when it was pressed

May be the design of fusetalk.

Post a suggestion and then live with what is available.

What an immature, childish response. You need to get a real life, a real ISP, and take off the training wheels; this isn't AOL, and on the real internet people won't respect you if you spew idiotic pseudo-Engrish like that.

Anyway, to the OP, I wish there were more of a warning system if you were about to delete all of your PMs. I've done it at least twice; the lesson here is to back up PMs - like everything else - with regularity.

Ive fixed this issue, and it's in play. As for more of a notice...we already say are you sure you want to delete... if you dont read it not much we can do about that?

L8r.

It's not good functionality to be taken somewhere other than where you were performing the original actions... the assumption that the user is still working in the same filter after having filtered for a specific user and marking all messages as read, is valid.
