Private Messages "quota" limits

While making final arrangements on a For Sale deal, I got a "you've exceeded your private message quota" of 50. Then the system told me that I had 109 PMs and wouldn't let me reply until I deleted below 50. After searching the forum, I couldn't find any info on this limit but 50 is way to small for PM's if you are doing any sort of active trading. Is this a new "feature" or did it just go bonkers? Any one else hit this problem tonight?

I'm sure that you'll find a lot of your PMs quite irrelevant... I have a bunch of PMs that just say "BUMP" - wtf is up w/ that?! Hehe, just search for what is relevant and what is not - what you need and what you don't, and slowly start to organize your box... you'll have room in no time :)

If you open the messages you can delete them one at a time - could be time consuming if you have a lot of them.

I just found it strange that I suddenly exceeded my 50 limit when I had 109 in my history. :)

P.S. Thanks for the pointer to Forum Issues..
