Is there anyway to send PMs without using javascript? I have a sidekick II and it doesnt support java so I can only read my PMs but not reply or send. I would also like it to get my PMs to my email and respond to them through email also.

This will only happen if your url/id/username/password are not right. Double check em, triple check em.

I'm getting the same problem, & I know mine are correct - I just logged out of the forums & then logged back in using the same username/password.

Re-typed them 3 times into the FTPM, no change.

Also, it appears to try the username/password I enter four times - I get four consecutive messages saying they're incorrect before I have a chance to go change them.

im getting an error saying i cannot synchronize with the server, even though i inputted the listed URL. anyone else getting this?

I am getting this... i checked the settings and made sure everything is correct, but I still get that error.

🙁

Well, it finally went.
Highlighting and overwriting wasn't cutting it. Manually erasing everything before inputting, for some reason, worked.
Serendipity or coincidence?

I was having the same problem, but followed what you did (erased everything, typed in everything) and it works great!

Useful tool!

For some reason on occasion the password will end up being outputted in the password box, the password is hashed, so when you update it rehashes a hash, wrong password obviously. I'll dig on that issue later.

Cheers.

So far I am liking this tool, but one question, does it show us as being online when this is open and we are not logged in?

Jason, I'm not sure if this is a problem, but some PMs I sent someone have <P> pm text here </P> tags in it. Only to the one person though, not others. I'm not sure if it's something I did when typing it or what, but obviously the <P> tags aren't being handled by the forum.

I've tried out the FTPM (FuseTalk Private Message notificator), but am
now unable to login to the forums.

Had the same thing that ViperGTS was (the FTPM not accepting my
user/pass combo), and I'm now getting the following message:

"Login denied, you are not authorized to log into the forums.
Error code 189"

From what I can understand from all the nonsense at the MS site, there's a 2.0 version of .NET out. I installed what I'm fairly certain to be the .NET Platform version 2.0 and this little proggy doesn't seem to see that as a valid .NET Platform install. It keeps telling me that I have to have .NET 1.x.x installed. So I have to downgrade or something? 😕

How about instead of popping up on your screen when you get a PM it just blinks in the corner or something? I find it annoying that it just pops up on the screen. Otherwise great utility.

Bug report:
Using W2K, cannot shutdown as long as the app is running in the tray. It just keeps giving message, "Cannot synchronize with the server. Ensure.....". If I close it manually, shutdown is no problem.

I'm new here but and I just installed this program last night but it has already been very helpful. Thanks for such a kicka$$ app.
