We must have seen different shows. Hogan's Heroes was about a unit working from a prison to help the allies. They broke out many times to complete missions, getting out was never an issue.

Oh, I think I'm thinking of a different show then. Hmm no idea, I don't really watch the older shows, but just catch parts of them here and there.

This thread should be renamed "Prison Break Haters Unite!", maybe throw in the ****OFFICIAL***** tag for effect. 😛

The question is how were they able to escape prison more than one season? I mean seriously, do you need to have a prison break every season?

Never saw it, never plan to. So many shitty tv shows on these days.

I watched part of the first season, and it was actually not bad. It doesn't surprise me that it got worse starting with season 2 though.

It wasn't so good that I felt the urge to finish season 1 over the last few years. I'd like to see it at some point though.

Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly told the Television Critics Association tour what his netlet is up to:

* ?Prison Break? is cancelled. ?The show is just played out,? said Reilly. It last episodes will take over the Friday ?Termintor? timeslot April 17.

* ?Virtuality,? the space-set sci-fi pilot from Ron Moore that has not yet received a series order, is being recut. ?It?s a little dense,? said Reilly.

* ?Boldly Going Nowhere,? the outer-space comedy pilot from the team behind ?It?s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,? may be going nowhere. Fox has ordered its pilot reshot.

* Reilly calls ?Fringe,? which is getting a post-?American Idol? slot ?a keeper,? perhaps implying a second-season renewal.

* On ?Dollhouse?: ?? we?re going to let the show play out for 13 episodes ... if we can do some business there it will be a great thing for the future.?

Thank god. Took long enough. How many freaking times could you possibly be imprisoned, escape and re-imprisoned. That tattoo has lost all meaning. Season 1 was ok, that was it.

Season 2 = ok
Season 3 = Zzzzzzz
Season 4 = Didn't watch it

Same. I watched about half of season 3 before I got bored and got rid of it.

I'll be curious to see this one.

Now only if they would Lose Lost. I cant beleive that is still running too.

and what shows do you watch?

and does it really matter that the show was called prison break, but they already broke out? not saying the show was very good after the fact, but if the show still found a way to be entertaining, what the hell would the name matter

I didnt watch the show much. But I never understood how breaking out of prison could drag on for more than a single season anyways.

Same here.

I'm curious how fsking long they plan on dragging out "Worst Week".

If its on fox, they'll prolly have to tone everything down and re-shoot as a cartoon with a witty baby alien for it to have a chance of playing.

Im going to start a show called "Hanging out at the beach" and see if it lasts 5 seasons...

Will you have your laptop with you at the beach?

No that is going to be the season 2 cliff-hanger.

Does that man walking towards me have a laptop in that box? Or is it just a pizza?

Stay tuned.....

this is news? I thought from the beginning of the season it was known this was the last.

i'm just happy they're bringing till death back this season and again next 🙂

now just for them to renew terminator and all will be good on fox (at least for what i watch 🙂

Season 1 was quite possibly the best first season of any T.V. show I've ever seen.

Season 2 was ok since they were all fugitives on the run, but after that it just started getting rediculous. I mean, how many times you can get locked up and break out again?

i said it in the beginning, this was a 1 season show that got milked for all its worth because TV execs are complete idiots.

Yup

Season 1 was amazing, then I stopped right after that.
