Is there a wat to make "prioretise" apps when they acsess the net?

For example:
IE should get all the bandwith when it is loading pages!
But when IE is idle the download maneger gets the bandwith....

I HATE the "Speed Limit" option in download manegers... it is always a loss-loss situation - it is NEVER worth it to d/l and surf AT THE SAME TIME ;)

I was looking for a similar thing a while ago. Let me guess, you wanna download pr0n but still beable to read threads on here quickly . . .

If you have any luck let me know! You think someone would have written an app to do this . . .

I think I use . . .'s too much . . .

I DO NOT mess up with p0rn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need to d/l drivers and shareware stuff and read the forums...

It wasn't a problem with my old 33.6k HARDWARE modem - but my new 56k *softwere* can't handle the "flow-control" wery well

HATE lame software modems... - but it was free :D!!

if you use a download manager like go!zilla to download all your files, then you can limit the bandwidth it uses.

anything left over will be used by your web browser. :)

hope this helps. :)
