Printing Woes

Hello all. I am trying to troubleshoot a small windows network. It contains 6 workstations and a file server. Here is the issue. On one of the computers I am working on, there are two printers installed. One is the local printer, the other is the network printer. The problem is -- whenever I try to send a job to the local printer, it comes out the network printer! Any ideas why windows might be doing this?

Try a printer test page from the "properties" window for the printer.

Tried it, and like anything else, it goes to the wrong printer!.

Have you checked the port configuration for the local printer? In the properties window for the printer, check the ports tab and make sure it's not going to something other than LPT1 or USB001 or whatever type of port you have it physically connected to.

I checked this. According to windows, it is going to the correct port.
