printing not dark enough

On one of my laser printers, a Lexmark E210, when printing from a web page that has text that is not black, the text is barely dark enough to read. Is there any way to make the page black and white? Or any other ideas? Thanks.

Tash, there should be a setting in the printer properties that will make you E210 print B&W instead of trying to print the different shades. On my rig running XP, I just do this: START-PRINTER AND FAXES-RIGHT CLICK YOUR PRINTER-CHOOSE PROPERTIES-ADVANCED-PRINTING DEFAULTS-PAPER/QUALITY-And under the COLOR option, choose BLACK & WHITE. Hope this helps

under 'paper' there is only 'source', 'size', and 'type'. No 'color'. Just to remind you, this is a black printing laser printer.

Your toner might be wearing down? also check to make sure its not in draft mode, or something like that

thats all i can think of.
