Printer's Magenta cartridge still streaking..

after 2 cleanings.

I have a Lexmark S305, just purchased last January. I did quite a bit of heavy color printing during the first week or so of ownership (brochures for my business), but have only used it sparingly since then. Now I'm getting intermittent streaking from the magenta cartridge, even after using the printer's self-clean function on the printhead. Suggestions?
 
does the printer have a separate head, or is the printhead integrated into the cartridge ?
If it is the latter case a new cartridge might be the fastest solution.
