My winXP pro machine will not let my 98se one access my epson 580 usb printer. 98 keeps asking for pasword. When supplied.it still will not let it use it. It says it has a comunication problem.
Why is this so ????????????😕
 
I'm not too sure about XP, but I think it works like Win2k--- have you set up an account on the WinXP machine with the 98SE's name, and supplied XP with a password that the 98 machine must use? There may be some issue about sharing printers and files on the XP box, too.....
