Printer wont work across network????

Hey guys, my printer will work from the pc it's hooked up to XP but not from the old PC ME. Is there something I need to configure to allow the printers to be shared across the network?
 
did you share the printer on the computer that it is on, and did you map it correctly on the computer your trying to connect with?
 
thanks for the quick reply Studdyman. I just went back through and added a printer via control panel and now it seems to be working. I did set in on share. Thanks again.
