HELP! I am building a home network. I am using Windows 98 A Linksys 4 port Router. I config. two computers. Both are able to access the internet, and share files, but I cannot get the second computer (B) to access the printer which is on the primary computer(A). I selected all the sharing features, the port is selected on B computer to access the printer on A. I have uninstalled the printer drivers and reinstalled. Everytime I attempt to print from B to A I receive an error message that the communication between the printer and the computer could not be established.Printer is HP 722c.I can see the printer listed in my network. What am I doing wrong. THanks for any help

Probably you did not go through the process of adding a network printer to your computer B. Double click on "My Computer" icon, and open the "printers" folder. Double click on "add printer". From there you can add a shared network printer from computer A.

I did go thru that process. Computer B's printer is installed as a network printer, not a local printer. I checked the path to the printer on A and it is correct.I also made sure both machines are using Microsoft network for sharing files and printers. I can share files but cannot print. Thanks for the "input"

Figured the mess out. I reloaded some drivers for the network, was able to capture the printer port and was printing over the network in no time.
