i'm using win98se, and have a hp laserjet 6p. this printer is connected locally to my rig, and i have it shared with another computer in my room via a switch. now... my sister was printing out some crossword puzzles. she was printing 20 copies out. the first like 8 pages comes out fine.... the suddenly it starts spitting out blank pages... and never really stops. so i pull out the paper tray, and turn the thing off. turn it back on, and printing resumes normally. eventually, it'll start spitting out blank pages again. i updated to the latest drivers from hp's website already, yet the problem persists. is this a driver issue, or is my printer just whacked, or.... ? any help would be greatly appreciated :)

hmm... u might be onto something there with the memory. i looked up memory upgrades for this printer online, and apparently, the default stock 2mb memory is soldered into this printer's motherboard. and additional memory slots are available and rather cheap too. what i am wondering is... does anyone know if i can use some pc memory in this printer? and if so, what kind?

I had a similar problem happen to me like that with paper spitting out with my Epson printer, what I did to fix it was remove the printer from Windows and remove all the software, then reinstall it all again after,(the problem for me was an XP driver update for my printer which I did not install second time round),don`t know if this will help you but you can try the remove from Windows etc and reinstall it and the software and see what happens.
