Hi All,
I have a HP C5280 , the photo paper is continually getting jammed, so I reviewed the service sheets and all is well there. I suspected then the software, which I have uninstalled, and now Im working only with the current HP driver.

The issues remain and if you have any quickfix or tweaks which may solve the issue please do post a reply.

Photo paper is heavier than bond. Have you tried opening the rear outlet tray so it doesn't have to do a U turn?

Hi,
Am I to understand you are advising that I remove the rear access door completely and then try to print on A4 Glossy...or ....is there a hidden tray at the rear of the printer which I do not see which should be removed?

Thanks for the reply,

Berne

There seems to be a recurring problem with heavy photo paper. Try only a single sheet. HP suggests disconnecting from the computer and feeding a single sheet manually. If it pulls on one side only, then there is a problem with the paper feed rollers. If one side pulls more than the other, it causes a skew, and heavy photo paper then jams.

The rear access door can be opened to clear a paper jam and also to clean the paper feed rollers.

Some glossy papers can slip. Try single sheet and use HP paper.

Go here and scroll down to solution 3 for cleaning the rollers:
