Printer for small business

I am doing work for a client. He is a single operator of an automotive shop with no other employees. I am currently creating a custom invoice template for him. Although an ink jet printer would be cheaper up front, I thought that a b&w laser jet would be more affordable and reliable in the long run.

What do you guys think and do you have any recommendations on the make/model?

I wouldn't want to recommend a particular printer, but a laser jet is definitley the way to go. Refill ink prices will kill him in the long run, not to mention that laser jets are MUCH more reliable for heavy printing.

HP Laserjet 1012

I use one for my home office and it has been awesome. I wouldn't buy anything else if I had to do it again. Its nice and cheap too. Replacement toner runs about $60 at Costco. I've only replaced it twice in 6 months of pretty heavy use (hundreds of sheets per month).
