I think it would be great if more teachers and principals had that level of familiarity with their students.

No it wouldn?t be great. For teachers to have that kind of familiarity with their students it would be a break down in social order and pollute the authority. School officials would have absolutely no credibility as school leaders.

I think you mean dillute, but I don't believe that is necessarily true. It definitely isn't true at the school where both of my parents are administrators. There's something to be said for not being viewed as an enemy by your students.

you?re acting like there is some type of credibility now. Its you idiots that vote for a president because they uphold family values. THERE ARE NO MORE VALUES IN AMERICA. There is no authority to pollute. Social order? are you drunk? Society isnt ordered when teachers are having sex with their students. The system is flawed. It has been becoming more and more broken and it isnt going to stop by not letting a teacher give a wedgie.

"Breakdown in social order?" Classroom time != free time. Anyone with half a brain knows that teachers and other people in position of authority aren't "wearing" that authority 24/7. Or do you think that judges' kids refer to them as "Your honor"?

It's very easy to respect someone and respect their authority, and yet be able to socialize with them in a casual environment. You seem to have a very simple and rigid view of the social hierarchy.
