It probably has less to do with "memory quirks" and more to do with motives. You can choose to believe whatever you want. Some beliefs, such as "Latinos are taking over America" is a way of providing more fuel (or reason) for one's racism. It is a justification for the individual.

For some people, they have so little faith in various establishments, that they refuse to believe anything the establishments push out. Of course this is really just another example of people believing something b/c they get something out of it.

The one opinion everybody has that is unconsciously rooted is that they are worthless and the inculcation of that feeling is deeply buried.

You feel this way because you have a deeply buried feeling of worthlessness and when you look at everyone it is as if you are looking into a mirror. You see worthlessness in me because it's in you.

:D

Nope, somebody told me and asked me to look. It took enormous effort and time even to partially confirm it. You have no idea how hard it is to know what you feel. No idea at all.

How can we trust your opinion when your opinion is biased by your own self-hate?

I hate my self-hate. :(

Because I don't have an opinion. I have first hand experience.

So it isn't your opinion that is biased by your own self hate, but your experience? Either way.

You have no experience with what I am talking about, apparently, so you are just throwing darts in the dark. When you feel what you feel you discover what you didn't know was true about yourself. Your experience isn't influence by your self hate, you experience the fact that you do. It is you who are influenced by your self have because it is completely unconscious and you don't know what motivates you. It is only when you feel what you feel do you remember it back to its roots because you are feeling it and when you really feel it you remember. When you really remember you can grieve for yourself and let go. You have to die to get well.

part of the situation is that most AT&T P&N'ers are working with an American public or private school education which withheld and mis-represented a lot of information.

if many P&N'ers knew as much about computers as they do about history, they'd be running 8080's & Z80's.
