Costco has a 19" for $599. It has 600:1 resolution and 1280x1024. It looked absolutely gorgeous!.....Looked nicer to ME than even Viewsonic, Samsung, Dell models.

I wonder how it would do with gaming?..........

No way to tell how gaming will be unless you test it.

My only experience has been with CRTs, but Princeton sure makes some kickass CRTs. Hopefully they can handle LCDs as well.

CostCo does have a fairly liberal return policy as well, but do try testing in-store first.

25ms over DVI should be fine for gaming. 600:1, if it's accurate, is also nice. The 1280x1024 ... isn't that the "17 inch resolution" though?

Princeton used to be a middle tier vendor, they went bankrupt and Proview bought them (same as MAG and CTX). They are one of the cheapest producers of LCD's. 19" LCD's haven't done well for games in any of the reviews I have seen.
