Prince was TALENTED

Deeko

Lifer
Don't get me wrong. I don't like Prince. But I'll tell you what. He was AWESOME at halftime. Whehter I like his music or not, he put on a SHOW, he was great. I was damn impressed.

He has always been very talented. Watching him with a guitar reminds you just how good he is. I'd put him in the top 30 greatest guitar players out there.

you people need to hook me up with the names of some good tracks to listen to.

I definitely respect his skills but most of his stuff is too...um...kind of hard to describe. Most of it just doesn't work for me, but I've only sampled a small part of his works.

i had minimal expectations going in (except that i would crack a few dave chapelle basketball jokes), but i was pretty entertained. if only he wasn't so strange...

At the party I was at we thought the halftime show was so bad that we turned on the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet.

Jebus. Have you not been to college?

To this day, most women drop their panties or kiss each other if you play some prince. It has this weird effect on them. Us it to your advantage.

I enjoyed his half time performance a lot. I'm not a Prince fan. Last year's was terrible.

everyone's usually listening to crap around here.....I need to move up the ladder to classier women...

fvking regetton and crap like that drives me nuts...

I thought he was actually lip syncing and air guitarring the first song. I noticed that the volume of his voice did not vary when he moved his mouth away from the microphone, which he did a lot.

I didn't think he actually sang anything live until the third song. He kept his mouth very close to the microphone for that song.

Yeah he was very good at halftime. I am a fan of Prince so I'm biased though.

Playing in the rain like that... pretty impressive of not on him but the whole band.

Agreed. Classic!!!

The guy is VERY talented.

For those of us who were born *before* 1980 (LOL), we can remember that the guy pretty much ruled the world of music for a good couple years there.

Of course, then folks went back to some of his older stuff......(also good).......and then proceeded to take the next decade of music & do whatever he wanted to with it in the form of 'other' artists under his Paisley Park label........

Jesse Johnson
The Time
Apollonia
Vanity
Half the people he ever worked with that we never heard of.

Not to mention all the women........(enter endless list here).

The guy is/was just unbelievable.

P.S. That Dave Chapelle video had me ROTFLMAOTURKEYGRAVYBBQ!!!!!!!!
