So basically what I got out of it is......

1) I can get sponsored for and licensed Series 6/63, life, and loan for $199.00

2) I can choose to take the education and run or use lisc. help others that are getting ripped off

Any reason why this is a bad deal if only for the education and licences?

1. The license is a joke unless you really need it for something.
2. You can pick up a study book for $50 yourself, WTF is the $199 for?
3. Primerica is a scam. (You should look into Kramerica.)

How is it anymore of a scam than opening an allstate office?

Now I know why you thought the current financial crisis was engineered by Wall Street. Being gullible runs in the family.

not quite in CT you pay 50.00 to the state another 70.00 to take the exam. That covers the 120.00 right there and thats soley for the series 63. figure the same for the series 6. and I didn't look up what the others are.

Basically if I'm looking to get lisc. this seems to be a cheap way.

Yeah, he moved to San Francisco and lived next to Monk.

People that get recruited are pushed hard to sell expensive, poor, insurance products like whole life to their family and friends.

However, it's more important to recruit new people to join than it is to sell products, the more people you recruit, the higher up the pyramid you go.

Two questions I have that aren't answered yet:

1) If I don't go into this to "recruit people" how is this any different than opening an allstate office?

2) If I consider my 199.00 an educational investment to earn my liscences and nothing more where is the scam? aka find me a better deal?

Primerica and all these other MLM are nothing but pyramid schemes. The people in the middle and bottom just work their asses off to make the top rich. Most of the products are overpriced or worthless so there's not much money to be made in sales so they have to resort to getting commission for recruiting of new people.

I think I was refunded almost all of the $199 2 years ago, wow they must be hurting now with CITI's crappy loans. All in all, I wouldn't do it. The loans they sell suck azz except for the mutual fund.

It's not a scam, it's multi-level marketing. They set you up essentially as a financial adviser, and you're supposed to sell Citigroup's financial products to your friends and family.

Can you answer how its different than opening an allstate branch where you push allstate products?

Primerica = Amway = Quickstar = Vector Market/Cutco

If you have a decent product, you don't have to sell it via goofy multilevel market schemes.
