@SlangNRox is now also in danger of falling off the top 300. But overall we're in a nice position. :)

Running even half my CPU cores on PrimeGrid shows a large negative impact on Seti GPU usage... :(

Looks like China has crunched Crunching@EVGA. But if we keep going I don't think we'll be next. :)

2,586,941 : diff between TA & TC
1,676.406 : our points from day 5 to 6
2,142,007 : their points "

They are gaining 500K/day, but need 2.5M

During the last 8 hours, we had 1.67 M PPD (down from 1.88 M average), and they had 2.59 M PPD (their best during this challenge, and surely still climbing; up from 1.46 average). I.e. they are gaining 1 M/day now.

From the look of past PrimeGrid challenges, it appears that TC just now discovered a whole new hobby.

Edit,
LAF's output curve looks like the PrimeGrid project server is now going back to the usual mix of subprojects being scheduled to clients, instead of having an oversized reserve of 321-LLR tasks sitting prepared. (The one producer at LAF simply computes all projects that are given to him, not 321-LLR specifically.)

I'm considering of unplugging myself from future LLR challenge as my validated:invalid tasks ratio in last two races is quite miserable.

Do not feel alone in that respect, mine are very sad too. I stopped running them due to the fact I didn't want to hinder the teams position in the challenge.

Thanks, Howdy. Considering that I'm only capable to complete 1.5 tasks per day magnifies the problem.

The race is over (except for the doublechecks, of which there may be many.)

Pretty sure we stayed ahead of China, though. :)

So it sounds like we finished strong which is great considering it was my first race. Can I go ahead and suspend BOINC now or do I wait? Also when is the next race? I want to join in again on the next one.:)

@crashtech beat me to it. SETI is a formula boinc sprint.-- until sometime Sunday

Otherwise, YES it's ok to stop primegrid.

Please abort your tasks if you don't want to finish them

I just wanted to let you know that I have cast my mind...into the beyond! And I have determined that the next PrimeGrid race will require Extra-Sensory Perception!!!

Oh, wait, I was dreaming. ;) The next PrimeGrid race will require working on the Extended Sierpinski Problem (ESP), starting next Tuesday at 12:00 UTC. That's early morning American time, so you may want to set your computers to start automatically. It's also about a day and a half before the Formula BOINC race starts, so we should get as much done before that as possible.

The new app_name is llrESP.

According to primegrid's project prefs webpage, average CPU time of llr321 was 31+ hours, whereas that of llrESP is 41+ hours. Both being rather long-running jobs indicates that the optimum thread count settings are similar for both. For desktop and mobile class CPUs that's most certainly 1 task at a time, using as many hardware threads as can be spared. For socket 2011 and similar, the optimum is elsewhere. And I'll probably find out where exactly for the bigger ones among my hosts.

Argh! I just realized I hadn't updated my PrimeGrid Preferences to the new project. At least I found it before the race ended.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but at least one of these is the reason why there is a "10 % conjecture credit bonus" given in the Extended Sierpiński Problem subproject.
@Rudy Toody is more likely to be right than I am. ;)
