This was a great race. The TeAm finished in the highest position ever in all the Challenge series. Well done, TeAm-mates! The effort of all the crunchers of TeAm AnandTech is v ery much appreciated. Each and every point counts. You never know when the difference between a higher position and a lower one will be less than 5000 points - and that has happened before. Usually it is "The Knights Who Say Ni!" who clobber us or whom we clobber ... but this time they were not as shining as usually.

Now, lets see, when is the next race ... ahh, yes, it is the PrimeGrid's Birthday/Summer Solstice. It runs for 24 hours only and it is June 21st. Let's see if we can muster any crunchers for that ... 😉

Only 2 of my WUs missed the deadline by less than 45 minutes ... and one by only 15 seconds ... 🙁
But all the others came in - thanks, Ken_g6, for the help on how to crunch more WUs!

You laugh, but that's what they're doing now! Well, not just their WUs, but everyone's. WUs have to be verified, by being run by someone else; if they're not valid, they will be subtracted from your score. 😱

Fortunately, we seem to have a nice buffer against Seti Germany. 🙂

And, yes, the next race is in June, and it allows GPUs! My next goal is to get AMD GPUs to work on that project; but nVIDIA works very well.

I've run the GPU ones on my GTX260 without issue.

Been looking at a "cheapish" upgrade to the gts8800 in my c2d. Considering something in the gtx450 family.
