It won't download a unit until the challenge starts ? I have done everything I can think of the enable GPU, Nvidia to be exact.

Finally... Its going. 3 /12 minutes ?

Anything you download BEFORE the event starts will not count.

This is not a typical challenge. Only tasks that are downloaded AFTER the event starts and returned BEFORE the event ends will be counted in the challenge.

So tasks you downloaded just now, will not count.

That's weird for sure.

All my stuff is setup, just gotta click the start button in 4 hours and 50 minutes.
Yep, very weird. On the bright side, an OS reinstall this morning seems to have fixed the problem and the GPU is happily crunching away now, along with my regular (wimpy) desktop GPUs. I'm definitely not going to be producing big numbers, but everything counts. And so far it looks like the Quadro RTX might out-produce everything else that I have combined, at about 17 minutes per task, so that's definitely a nice bonus.

I'm very jealous of the 3.5 minute run times on Mark's 3080 ti!!

OK, I'm in with various machines and GPUs.

Edit: Specifically, 4 out of 10 of my rigs, with 11 GPUs. I might be able to do more, but I'm down to 50% of my mining revenue already.

I added a 1080TI (15 min) and a 2080TI (8 min)

Nothing can touch that 3080TI, at least in my house.

My garbage cable modem worked with WCG MCM, but is incompatible with PG AP27. It was down for four hours today. Luckily I had set the work buffers large enough. — Or rather: "Luckily", the clients went nuts again on the GPU equipped computers and kept requesting work until they have 1000 runnable tasks each.

I went to the PrimeGrid prefs page now and configured a somewhat saner limit on tasks in progress.

I just added a 3070. Looks like 6 minutes, faster than a 2080ti at 8 minutes. So, I have the below:

1 - 3080ti 3.5 minutes
1 - 3070 6 minutes
1 - 2080ti 8 minutes
2 - 1080ti 15 minutes

Okay guys, are we trying to beat 2nd and 3rd place combined in this race too? :tearsofjoy:

While it's still very early, it's also not that long of a Challenge @ 3 days.

We're currently out producing antarctic crunchers and Czech National Team combined.

Team AnAndTech : 50,521,328
Fused AC & CNT : 48,718,150

Perhaps we should try to include AMD Users in this one?

You would currently be #5 on the team rankings just by yourself. ;)

Some people could be bunkering tasks from the start and waiting to dump them at the end, so it's entirely possible we'll might see some big movement tomorrow. We should definitely keep adding GPUs if possible. I added that Quadro RTX 4000 this morning, and Markfw added several even better GPUs recently. Anybody else have more to throw in?

While unlikely, it would be really amazing to out-produce three other teams! :D
