the problem w/ prime95 is that it only stresses your cpu (kinda like rc5)... For example, I can run prime95 for hours on end (ive done it for almost 2 days straight) @ 1.1ghz but when I try to play some games... bam, crash. That is because prime doesnt stress the rest of the system. You could run 3dmark2k for a few hours, then run UT flyby for a few more, then run prime95 for a few... if you can do that, well then I'd say your cpu is not only burned in but also pretty stable...
For stability testing, running some 3D benchmarks like 3D Mark, Final Reality, etc in a loop, with Prime 95 or RC5 running in the background at the same timeis a good stress test.
