Prime95 x 2

Make two different P95 folders and start each one up separately.

EDIT: Ignore the feeble Athlon user (me) and heed the oldfart's advice.

Start the first normally, the start the 2nd from the run dialog with an -a1 added. Like so:

D:\programs\p95v236\PRIME95.EXE -a1

I open the first one normally but it won't start a second one that way. I get a "Windows can't find" box. I'm confused 😕

That was an example. Is your installation path different? Use the browse button. find the prime95.exe and then add the -a1 to the run command.

You could just make another shortcut to P95. Right-click the shortcut, then Properties, and in the "Start in" box after the quotes put the -a1 in.

This is what I get for the target when I right click on the icon in the target box: "C:\Program Files\Prime95\Prime95.exe"

I have omited the quotes on both ends of the target and added the -a1 with and without a space and I have used the quotes as well.

Also cut the free memory in half for each instance, or else you'll get system hangs (sometimes really long) as it writes to the swap file. I also like to run 3dMark03 when I start and when I end (with one instance) just to mix things up a bit.

I got it! Both suggestions work, I just needed to put a space in betweeen the quotation mark then the -a1 😉 Thanks guys 😀
