Prime95 error

I cannot seem to start the Prime95 Torture test, it keeps coming back with a fatal error, hardware failure detected...

How exactly would I set this thing up to run the test?

That means that it's running the test, and it's detecting that your computer's CPU isn't performing calculations like it should. The usual cause of this is too much overclocking, though plain ol' overheating (not enough cooling with a hot room in the summer) could contribute as well.

Odd thing is, even running CPU Stability test for about 2 hours, the temperate, according to the Asus Probe I have on, never exceeded 36C.

Could be your RAM although I don't think Prime95 stresses memory much... Is it overclocked though? Even if its at a good tempt doesn't mean it wont give off some crazy numbers when overclocked.

What kind of memory? I ran into the same problem with some memory that couldn't handle 200. Also with a little voltage bump my errors went away.

I'm @ 10.5x200 now and it will not give me the same error message, I've yet to run it for a full test, but even boosting the VCore 1V upwards didn't let the core run Prime95 @ 200x11. 🙁
