Prime95 error after 14 hours - system stable or not?

Prime95 ran for 14+ hours before giving me an error ... should I consider my system stable or not?

Any ideas how to get more of an OC?

I would... you could try increasing the voltage or raising the RAM timing. You might wanna do that anyway... raise the RAM timing to like 2.5-3-3-8 and see if you still get an error after so much time. If you don't, then the error was caused by the RAM... if you do, then it's more than likely the processor... in which case I'd increase the voltage.

I would consider anything of 6-8 hours of P95 stable...

14 hours? Who games for 14 hours straight? Most of the time games can't even load the CPU like P95 does.

I consider that stable.

anything about 12+ is good..

but if you want to be extra safe just bump up the vcore to 1.65!

didn't some dude in Korea die after gaming for xx hours straight? maybe if his machine crashed, he's still be alive moral of the story : if u're a hardcore gamer, an slightly unstable system may save ur life

Prime95 is unforgiving even under normal conditions. And with the overclocking you do... I think 14 hours is very good indeed.

Allow me to brag about Perfect III running 24/7 for three weeks this summer - but that is with absolutely no overclocking.
