I'm running an SL6EF 2.4B running at 3023MHz at 1.7V, on a Gigabyte GA-8PE667 mobo with 2x512MB Kingston ValueRAM(BH-5 chips) at 2.7V

This system is basically stable for everything except Prime95 and anything based on the UT2K3 engine. I haven't tried Memtest86 yet since I'm on NTFS/Win2K.

you got the latest prime95??? I upgraded as many were talking about c1's having issues with older versio of prime95...may try to update...

Also what is the relation with win2k/NTFS and running memtest??? make a boot disk or bootable cd-rom and let it run...It doesn't care about OS....

I have found similar issue to Goi and I am running an early 2.4b C1(on Abit IT-7 MAx2 rev2) stepping from around Oct 2002..2.4@3.0 at 166 fsb(vcore is 1.675 bios but actual vcore is 1.65) with pc2100 crucial running at 2.5/3/3/7 with 2.7v

Prime dies right away...3DMark2001SE would go for several hrs , hot cpu tester has run for 1.5hrs....I am impatient and stop the tests before 6-12hrs...I have encoded about 7 dvds with dvd2scvd without a hitch
I did run memory test but only the first few tests and stopped

Unreal 2 would crash then with a new snd driver it was ok....my soundcard is an old aureal vortex2....

I do have a problem with MOHAA:Spearhead...it will crash sometimes in 15 min..others it goes for an hr or more....I did try the game at cpu 133..2.4 with memory at 166 and it crashed as well...I will need to try at stock...

I've found that running SETI@home along with any game using dirextX is one hell of a way to stress test, I can run benches all day long and not have a problem, but run bf1942 with seti in the background, if the machine doesn't have total stability on that after 2hrs, you need to go back and tweak.
