I was just wondering a few things about prime 95 torture test. I have never used it, and I don't know much about it. I am trying to test my computers stability and this seems like it might work. First of all, what does it do? Also, is it free? Are there risks too my computer. If I had to take a guess, it looks like a loop that just loads my cpu to 100%. That doesn't sound like a great idea. Any info would be great.

it just does calculations by loading the cpu to a 100% and it is free.

personally, i use hot cpu pro tester as it does prime95 and a lot more tests at the same time
